ORDINANCE 495
MAINTENANCE OF PROPERTIES WITHIN THE BOROUGH IN REGARDS TO CUTTING GRASS, WEEDS OR OTHER VEGETATION:
Property owners within the Borough shall trim or cut all grass, weeds or other vegetation to 4 inches or less - at no time in excess of 8 inches.
MINIMUM SCHEDULE SHALL BE AT LEAST ONE TIME PRIOR TO MAY 31 EACH YEAR;
AT LEAST ONE TIME BETWEEN JULY 16th AND AUGUST 31st EACH YEAR;
AT LEAST ONE TIME BETWEEN SEPTEMBER 1st AND THE END OF THE GROWING SEASON.
Violations to this ordinance: issued a notice to comply within 5 days; if ignored, borough authorities may trim or cut grass, weeds or other vegetation
and the cost thereof, together with any additional penalty authorized by law; property owners who violate or fail, neglect or refuse to comply shall
upon conviction of a summary offense by a District Justice be fined not less than $25 nor more than $300 for each offense, as well as costs of this action.
If in default for payment, committed to County Jail for a period not exceeding 30 days.

ORDINANCE 483
PROHIBITS GRASS AND/OR OTHER DEBRIS FROM BEING PLACED ON THE BOROUGH STREETS:
Grass clippings and shavings and other debris cause problems with regard to the storm management system.
Therefore, it is unlawful for any person to place grass, leaves, shrubbery, tree limbs and/ or branches on to any Borough Street.
Any person found in violation of this ordinance shall be issued a citation (summary offense) and pay a fine in the amount of
$50 for a first offense and $100 for a second or subsequent offense.

ORDINANCE 425
CURFEW HOURS FOR MINORS:
10:00pm until 5:00am on any Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday
11:00pm until 5:00am on any Friday or Saturday
A minor commits an offense if the minor remains in any public place or on the premises of any establishment within the borough during curfew hours.
Also, a parent/legal guardian of the minor commits an offense if they knowingly permit, or by insufficient control allows,
the minor to remain in any public place or on the premises of any establishment within the borough during curfew hours.
The owner/operator or any employee of an establishment in the borough commits an offense if they knowingly allow a minor
to remain upon the premises of the establishment during curfew hours.
ANY MINOR WHO HAS RECEIVED TWO WRITTEN WARNINGS FOR VIOLATING THE CURFEW WILL RESULT IN
THE PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN BEING FINED UP TO $500
